Flu and COVID-19 Testing Services

Not sure if it's the flu or COVID-19? Many symptoms overlap, including fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, fatigue, and headaches. Our point-of-care testing services can help you get answers and understand your next steps. We offer three convenient service options:

FLU TESTING & TREATMENT
$60
  • Experiencing flu-like symptoms? Our pharmacist can perform a flu test, review your symptoms and medical history, and determine whether antiviral treatment is appropriate.
  • If you test positive and meet eligibility requirements, your pharmacist may prescribe flu medication such as Tamiflu or Xofluza.
  • *Prescription must be filled at Realo Drugs.
FLU & COVID-19 TESTING
$75
  • Get tested for both influenza and COVID-19 during one visit.
  • Our pharmacist will review your results and determine whether you're eligible for flu treatment. If you test positive for COVID-19, we'll provide guidance on next steps and recommend follow-up with a healthcare provider for treatment options.
  • Please note: COVID-19 antiviral prescriptions are not currently available through this pharmacy service.
FLU EXPOSURE PREVENTION
$40
  • Been around someone with the flu but aren't experiencing symptoms? If you've had close contact with someone who has influenza within the past 48 hours, you may qualify for preventive antiviral medication.
  • Our pharmacist can evaluate your risk factors and determine whether preventive treatment is appropriate. Flu testing is not required for this service.

How Does Test & Treat Work?

Getting started is simple!
  • If you're experiencing flu-like symptoms or have recently been exposed to influenza, call your participating Realo Drugs location. For everyone's safety, please remain in your vehicle when you arrive.
  • You will complete a brief health assessment and our pharmacy team will review your symptoms, medical history, and eligibility for testing or treatment.
  • Your pharmacist will perform the appropriate point-of-care testing and review your results with you.
  • If you test positive for influenza and meet eligibility requirements, your pharmacist may prescribe antiviral medication. If treatment isn't appropriate, we'll help you understand your next steps, including when to seek additional medical care.
  • *If medication is prescribed by the pharmacist, the prescription must be filled at Realo Drugs.

Don't Wait to Get Tested!

Timing matters when it comes to flu treatment.

Antiviral medications work best when started early. Under our pharmacist treatment protocol, eligible patients must have developed flu-like symptoms within the past 48 hours to qualify for pharmacist-prescribed antiviral treatment.

Our flu treatment service is available to eligible patients ages 5 and older. Patients under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian.

Even if you've been sick for more than 48 hours, flu testing and pharmacist counseling may still be available.
